The second workshop on ‘Best Practices and Lessons Learned’ will be held under the Regional Project “Mesa de Articulación and its Southern allies increase their capacity for advocacy and dialogue with governments and the private sector”, implemented by Mesa de Articulación and funded by the European Commission. The project aims to help strengthen peer Southern networks by transferring new knowledge and successful experiences of advocacy under MESA’s Regional Project.
The workshop will feature the participation of the Afro-Latin American, Caribbean & Diaspora Women’s Network, along with representatives of 18 national NGO platforms and regional networks in Latin America.
The event will be held on March 2nd, 2015 in Guatemala City, organized by the Coalition of NGOs and Cooperatives of Guatemala (CONGCOOP for its acronym in Spanish), created in 1992, which has dedicated its work to promoting and articulating development proposals that are guided by equality and justice.
Guatemala City will also host the IV Subregional Meeting, the Second Regional Meeting, and the General Assembly of members of Mesa de Articulación, which will take place on March 3rd and 4th .
